Action Research Lab

Where theory meets practice.
Advancing migrant wellbeing through research, education,
and community collaboration.

About

I grew up between cultures — born in Brazil, raised in Japan — constantly navigating questions of identity, language, and belonging.
Those experiences shaped my curiosity about how people rebuild their lives across borders and how education can become a form of liberation.
Today, my research and practice are grounded in that personal journey: creating spaces where migrants are not merely adapting, but becoming.

Connecting research and social innovation to reimagine systems of immigrant inclusion in Japan and beyond.
